🍺 The Beer Has Arrived – and the Bar is Ready!

The countdown to Barnack Beer Festival 2026 is well and truly on – because the most important guests have now arrived! As you can see, the beer is racked, wrapped and settling, the bar is in position, and preparations are gathering pace ready for Saturday 19 September. After months of organising, planning, contacting breweries, arranging food, entertainment and all the other pieces that make the festival happen, it’s great to finally see the room beginning to look like a beer festival again. The casks are now being given time to settle and condition, carefully protected and kept at the right temperature so that they’ll be ready to serve at their best when the doors open. Meanwhile, our purpose-built bar is ready and waiting for the taps, pumps and finishing touches. There’s always something rather special about this stage. An empty room suddenly starts turning into Barnack Beer Festival. The beer arrives, the bar goes up and you realise – we’re nearly there! This year we’ll once again have a great selection of beers to work your way through, alongside food, entertainment and the relaxed atmosphere that has made the festival such an enjoyable community event. A huge thank you goes to everyone already involved behind the scenes. There’s still plenty to do before opening time, but the transformation is underway. The beer is in. The bar is built. Hoggy’s Grill is firing up for Barnack Beer Festival! We’re delighted to welcome Hoggy’s Grill to Barnack Beer Festival on 19th September. Expect proper festival food, freshly cooked and packed with flavour — including their 24-hour BBQ pulled pork rolls, double smash burgers, hot honey chicken burgers and grilled halloumi rolls. Come hungry… because choosing just one might be the hardest decision you make all day! 🍔🔥🍺

Using quality ingredients and cooked fresh on site, their delicious range of pizzas will be the perfect accompaniment to the wide selection of beers, ciders, and ales on offer. Whether you're joining us for a quick bite or making an evening of it with friends and family, Amo La Pizza will have something to satisfy every appetite. We're thrilled to announce that Barnack Beauty — a bespoke gin crafted exclusively for the Barnack Beer Festival by the Cambridge Gin Laboratory is back for the 2026 event. This small-batch gin captures the essence of Barnack, with botanicals inspired by our local countryside. Whether you're a gin connoisseur or simply curious, it's a true taste of Barnack you won't find anywhere else. Bottled at 42% ABV in a 50cl bottle, Barnack Beauty will be available at the festival bar throughout the weekend. Every bottle sold supports our local charity fundraising.
